Last Year’s Business
The $410 Billion spending bill that Congress is sending to Barack Obama to sign is ridiculous. Seriously, do we need almost 9000 ear marks?? His campaign ran on doing away with the current business of earmarks and bringing change. He addressed the united States Congress a few weeks ago after they passed the $787 billion stimulus package full of earmarks, preaching change and fiscal responsibility.
We the American People have been LIED to twice now about earmarks. These pet projects have got to STOP! The home states of these representatives need to go back home and work with State and local legislature to fund these ear marks. This way the people in the local area decide what they want and not burden EVERY American with their projects. It’s not going to benefit me or my community.
Also calling this last years business is a crock. You’re passing the bill during your watch, so it’s this year’s business. You’re signing it, you’re deciding on it, you’re the owner. Obama and dem/libs have nobody else to blame for the way the country is ran other than themselves. Still we go round about to Bush and Rush. Enough already. DO YOUR JOBS!!!!!!!
We wonder why the American People are SO MAD! 2010 and 2012 cannot get here fast enough.

I hear ya. I am flabergasted at the fact that he ran on fiscal conservativism, no earmarks at all. And now he is just changing his tune completely. Now it isnt NO earmarks, now it is just GOOD earmarks submitted in a different way. When will the lies end? When is he going to stop spending OUR money, money we do not have! The worse the economy gets, the less money we have to pay taxes on, the less the government is funded, the more money he spends… how the hell does that work?

I think you are correct terrilynnclar. With the economy down, taxes for the government is down. I guess they believe the best way around that is to print more money and put us further in debt.
If he actually did take responsibility then Pelosi would stop using the military jets for private use and others would tighten their belts. Apparently to the united States government money grows on trees for them.
